The author does indeed attempt, with quite some success to write a "complete handbook", and even includes a small chapter on standard dress, and other surface supplied systems. The usual equipment, physiology etc chapters exists; and spearfishing, dangerous marine animals, treasure hunting - twnety chapters in all. Probably not of historic value, but nevertheless an importnat book in the chronicles of diving (instruction) literature.
